The PlayStation VR headset has been such a success that more than 100 new games are planned for release in 2018 alone.
The virtual reality headset has been a boon for Sony as the first-mass marketed 360-degree immersive experience on the high street.
There have been 2 million headset sales so far of the fledgling technology and now Sony has announced the next 30 coming coming to PS4 VR this Spring.
In a blog post explaining the releases, Sony writes:
“We’re awfully excited about virtual reality here at PlayStation headquarters, especially with recent releases like The Inpatient, Moss, and Sprint Vector proving that VR can deliver a wide range of immersive experiences across various genres.”
This is a good showing from Sony, especially as many fans tempted by VR titles will gravitate to Sony to get their fix.
After all, PSVR is the cheapest entry point for VR, and it’s the only tool that allows you to play virtual reality games on a console.
