Microsoft has some exciting news about Xbox One backwards compatibility, telling fans to expect some big new additions soon.Fans are particularly keen for backwards compatibility on Xbox 360 games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Microsoft executive Phil Spencer was asked by a Twitter follower why more blockbuster Xbox 360 releases like Call of Duty and the LEGO games hadn’t been made backwards compatible on Xbox One.

Spencer didn’t comment on any specific titles, but said: “Just the order things come out of testing. We have some I’ve really been looking forward to coming soon.”

This was followed by a tweet from a Criterion Games spokesperson, who told fans that work on Burnout Paradise backwards compatibility was still ongoing.

“Patience, Paradise fans! This work is continuing and we hope to have more BC news soon.”
