Sea of Thieves launches soon, and to celebrate the release of Rare’s newest game, Microsoft is offering gamers a pretty unique opportunity.
The publisher has announced a “digital treasure hunt” to win a bunch of golden bananas valued at a massive £80,000.
The four golden bananas have been forged by famous London goldsmiths Smith & Harris.
The goldsmiths are no stranger to this kind of publicity stunt: that’s the company that worked on the Kate Moss Siren.
Unlike the Siren, though, these bananas are totally up for grabs for fans of the game.
To be in with a chance of winning the golden bananas, you’ll need to gather together the answers to 15 cryptic clues, with the first being revealed 8am GMT on Monday, March 19.
Rare and Microsoft will be unveiling these via the competition website.
The remaining clues will be revealed every three to four hours over the following three days from Monday, March 19.
