in the UK last week, according to new report published by gaming industry mag MCV.

Microsoft’s new slim robot white console sold out almost immediately upon release and the beastly 2TB model is not expected to be restocked at any point in the future.

So unfortunately if you didn’t manage to grab one while they were briefly on sale, then you’ve missed out.

It now means that Xbox gamers who wanted a 2TB Xbox One S now have only three options available to them:

  1. Buy a white Xbox One S 2TB model on Amazon from a third party retailer with the price hiked way up.
  2. Accept you can’t get it and grab yourself the smaller 1 TB or 500 GB models (when Microsoft eventually release them).
  3. Pre-order yourself the 2TB Gears of War 4 model, which only comes in blood red.

“We’re excited by the reaction from fans for the Xbox One S. While stock of the 2TB has sold out, gamers can pre-order the Xbox One S 2TB Gears of War Limited Edition console,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Eurogamer when asked for more information.

“We will be sharing further details on other Xbox One S bundles and variations in the coming weeks.”
