No Man’s Sky update: Sean Murray from Hello Games busy on next patch

Posted on October 10, 2016 by Phill Warren

While the game continues to see plenty of discussions unfold on the official No Man’s Sky Reddit, players are looking for more answers on where it might go next.

No Man’s Sky has come in for widespread criticism from fans who were expecting more features to be included in the launch version released in August.

The backlash has gone as far as to include Sean Murray’s Hello Games studio being investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

Several customers are said to have complained to the ASA about the promotional material for the PS4 and PC game.

The backlash has gone as far as to include Sean Murray’s Hello Games studio being investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

Several customers are said to have complained to the ASA about the promotional material for the PS4 and PC game.

Some fans have reached out to people involved in the game, with a small update being shared by audio chief for No Man’s Sky, Paul Weir.

Asking on how things were going for Sean Murray and the development team, Weir replied: “Sean is fine and we’re all busy on the next patch.”

When asked why there hadn’t been more shared by Murray and the team, Weir commented: “I’m afraid I have nothing useful to say. It’s entirely up to Hello or Sean as to when they want to talk publicly.”

While this is an ongoing event currently unfolding around the game, there is the possibility that more could be released about the game’s future from Murray himself.

LIVE with YouTube Gaming host Geoff Keighley gave his thoughts on the project in the latest episode, touching upon his own involvement and how the future might be shaped.
