Anyone that picked up Red Dead Redemption 2 will automatically be given access to Red Dead Online – a portion of the game that’ll operate a bit like GTA Online after that released when GTAV launched back on the 360 and PS3.Rockstar aren’t really divulging too much information about the mode ahead of its launch. Thanks to new datamined files, though, we can see that Rockstar is planning on introducing the property buying system into Red Dead Online. Thanks to a report from RockstarIntel, we’ve learned that unused catalogue data in the game is buried in the files, suggesting online shops will feautre properties for the user to buy (when they have enough cash).

Here are references belonging to Properties in Red Dead Online, that can be purchased, that we know about so far:

This comes after data miners revealed information from the RDR2 Companion App officially launched by Rockstar.

The details uncovered in the companion app’s code suggest that, similarly to GTA Online, Red Dead Online features an adversary mode.

Knowing Rockstar, it’s likely that the mode will operate in the same wasas GTA Online’s (in)famous feature.

Adversary Modes are different player vs player modes in which several players go up against another group of players in different ways. One adversary mode apes the Battle Royale style found in Fortnite and PUBG over in GTA Online, so you can possibly look forward to some Wild West BR action.

The code also seems to suggest that the mode will include ‘seamless PvE’ in the online mode – we’re keen to see what this means.

The Rockstar Editor is also present in the code – a feature that lets players record, edit, and share videos created in the game.

If for some strange reason you dont alreadt own a copy of the game, take a look at our review here which we gave it a perfect 10/10
