Fans have had a pretty long stretch of time to try out the new Ghost Recon Wildlands beta but the end date has been set with no extension in sight.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta began on Thursday, February 23rd at 6am EST and will end on Monday, February 27th at 6am EST.

That means fans in the UK have until around 11am on the same day to try out as much of the new content as possible.

There’s also still enough time to for some to download it and play it tonight, here’s how to go about it:

The Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta is accessible for free to all players right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (in eligible countries).

Here’s how to download and play on each platform:

  • Xbox One: Reach the Games menu and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta.
  • PS4: Go to the Playstation Store and search for Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta.
  • Uplay PC: Launch Uplay PC launcher, Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta will be available in your Free Games list.
  • Steam: Launch Steam, search for the Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta product page and click on “Play now” button to download the Open Beta in your library.
However, while it’s pretty easy to get the download going, fans should be aware that it might take a while, what with it being around 25GB on each platform.

Ubisoft have also confirmed that all participants of the Open Beta will unlock a special reward for the final game, including an exclusive Llama weapon skin.

The new skin will be available from day one, March 7, Ubisoft have yet to confirm if any other bonuses will be included.

Fans may have been hoping for a little extra time to play the new open beta, due to the recent issues affecting the Uplay service on Saturday.

However, there has been no announcement in the regard, so fans will have to do their best to get the most out of the two new provinces that are available to explore.

Ubisoft describes Itacua as a flourishing and mountainous province where the grip of the cartel is looser, ideal to perfect your sniping skills and get introduced to the Wildlands.

Montuyoc, meanwhile, is set in the snowy Altiplano and is much more challenging – players who have suppressed the Itacua bosses will gain XP and skills boosts allowing them to face this dangerous area, home to Santa Blanca elite training centers.

During the recent closed beta, players were able to travel solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op and use a variety of vehicles, weapons, and equipment available to the Ghosts.
