GTA 5 fans have a new update to check out online on October 20, including a new customs shop in downtown Strawberry that offers new ways to transform your old Lowriders into top drives.

Players can buy new rides from Benny’s website, complete with a long list of customisable vehicles which can then be taken downtown to mod even more.

A post from Rockstar explains: “Deck out your engine block with covers and air filters, coat your interiors with velour, leather and patterns, choose custom colors and designs for your dials, or add a new steering wheel and custom shift levers. Give your ride lift with hydraulics – the more powerful the pumps, the higher you can bounce.

“And boost your stereo’s performance with new speakers and subs in the back.

“use the Player Interaction Menu while inside or outside the car to open up the vehicle doors, hood and trunk, switch on the engine to flash your neons and bump your favorite radio station for all to admire.”

The only bad news for fans is this is exclusive to PS4, Xbox One  and PC, last-gen looked to have been cut out the updates for good.

New missions from Lamar have also been added, along with three new adversary Mode options, the chance to buy a fourth property, as well as the usual new clothing, hair and accessory options.

The GTA Online Freemode Events update has created a new way for fans to make money on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

This includes 19 challenges that players can undertake to make some serious GTA Online in-game cash.

Rockstar say they are geared to proving yourself the best in key abilities, including achieving the Longest Jump, Most Headshots, most Near Misses and Longest Fall Survived amongst many more.

These 19 new Challenges will give you plenty of opportunities to use the Action Replay feature in the Rockstar Editor which was included in the most recent GTA 5 update.

“The top 3 finishers in each Challenge receive cash and RP for displaying their talent, so time your winning flourishes well,” a tip from Rockstar reveals.
