Xbox’s Larry Hryb has now confirmed that nine new Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games have been made playable in the last couple of days, a huge boost for the program.

He also warned, however, that these new titles will be the last to be announced in 2016, writing on Twitter: “Before Xbox One Backward Compatibility team takes some time off for holidays, we have 6 new releases today. Releases resume after New Year.”

The new titles include: Skydive, Planets Under Attack, CLANNAD (Japan Only), as well as Bully Scholarship Edition, Catherine and Raskulls.

One of the most requested batch of Xbox One backwards compatible games, Xbox 360 versions of BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite have finally been ported over to the Xbox One.

The ports, which have been in the works for quite some time, may have been delayed to give the BioShock Remastered Collection some breathing room on Xbox One.

They join the likes of Rayman Legends, Shadowrun, Space Ark, Shotest Shogi and Pure.

Microsoft also confirmed that to celebrate the anniversary of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, they have made classic Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey available as a free download until the end of the month
